Community Guidlines
General Rules:
The community does not tolerate any form of harmful or negative behavior. Anyone who displays such behavior will be removed immediately.
The community values mutual respect and inclusivity. Any form of harassment, inappropriate comments or discrimination based on race, gender, religion or sexual orientation are strictly prohibited.
To maintain a focused environment for artists to share their work and ideas, spamming and advertisements are only allowed in designated channels. Discord server links are prohibited to avoid unwanted solicitation.
As a creative community that values diversity in opinions and backgrounds, it is important to treat each other with respect and kindness. Edgy content that may offend others or spark uncomfortable conversations should also be avoided.
If any member feels uncomfortable due to any reason while participating in the community chat or forums can reach out to staff via staff support or for help.
Posting Artwork:
When posting artwork, please keep it to 3-5 attachments per hour maximum in the designated channels. This is to ensure equal opportunity for all artists to get exposure within the community while avoiding overloading the chat feed with one person's artwork.
All work in progress should go in the WIP channel. This helps keep the main channel focused on finished pieces while allowing feedback on works-in-progress.
Not everyone may want NSFW content appearing on their screen without warning. Posting NSFW material is only allowed within its designated channel using a spoiler tag with a brief description of what type of content it is.
Screenshots are accepted but embedded/uploaded images are preferred when available. This is to keep the server as safe as possible and free of harmful links. Therefore uploads and embeds preferred when possible. Try LightShot for ScreenGrabs.
Tracing someone else's artwork without permission is considered theft; however tracing an image after receiving permission from the original artist is acceptable as long as proper credit given where necessary.
Stealing someone else's artwork without permission or proper attribution will result in immediate removal from the group.
Memes/GIFs can sometimes detract from productive conversation. These types of posts should remain confined to their designated channel only.
Sharing other artists' work can provide inspiration for fellow creatives; however posting these works requires appropriate attribution wherever possible to honor their creators properly.
These rules apply for all text and voice channels within our discord server.
